Due to severe heat in Saudi Arabia, the mercury has crossed 52 degrees Celsius. There, five hundred and fifty pilgrims have died while travelling on foot from Arafat to Muzdanifa. On hearing the news of the death of pilgrims due to heat, the families of the pilgrims who had gone for Haj from India were shocked. They immediately inquired about their well-being over the phone. In a conversation with Amar Ujala, the pilgrims described the scene of death due to heat.
