Gurugram News Heavy Traffic Jam At Sarhole Toll Of Gurugram-Delhi Border Ann

Gurugram News: Even though the toll plaza for non-commercial vehicles has been removed from Sarhol Toll in Gurugram city adjacent to Delhi, the traffic jam situation has not improved yet. It has become a habit to face traffic jam here every morning and evening. Due to this, people waste petrol in their vehicles. Perhaps even the traffic police does not have a solution to this jam.

Earlier, toll was collected from commercial and non-commercial vehicles at Gurugram-Delhi Sarhol border. Due to this reason this area remained jammed from morning till late night. Here in Gurugram and on the other side in Delhi, there used to be traffic jam for 3-4 kilometres. Due to the intervention of the court, the non-commercial toll plaza was removed many years ago, but now the toll plaza for commercial vehicles is installed. Talking about traffic jam, the situation which used to be there before, is happening even now.

The jam becomes about 3 kilometers long

There is traffic jam for about 3 kilometers on the lane from Gurugram to Delhi. Usually there is traffic jam till Shankar Chowk. Due to its proximity to the airport, the number of vehicles passing through here is quite high. Airport staff, pilots, air hostesses etc. stay in hotels near the airport in Gurugram. Also, due to the passengers going to the airport in private and booking vehicles, vehicles going from Rajasthan, Haryana to Delhi, there is jam at Sarhole toll here. The number of these vehicles is continuously increasing. On an average, about 3.5 lakh vehicles pass through Sarhol Toll every day. In such a situation, it should be understood what would be the situation at the border due to these vehicles.

Road opened near Shiva idol, still no work done

The reason for the jam was also said to be the closure of NH-48 for 90 days for the connectivity of Dwarka Expressway. The road which was closed on March 14 this year has now been opened. But the condition of traffic jam is only getting worse. Even though NHAI and traffic police claim that the waiting time for vehicles is 15 minutes, but looking at the picture it does not seem that anyone has been able to get out of the jam that quickly.

Number of vehicles increased during wedding season

This year’s wedding season has started with Dev Uthani on Thursday. There was a glut of weddings in Gurugram, Delhi and across the country. People going to weddings in Delhi remained stuck in this traffic jam along with their vehicles. (Report by Rajesh Yadav)
