Gurugram Divisional Commissioner gave position letter to beneficiaries of 489 plot ANN

Haryana News: The happiness of the poor families waiting for a plot in Gurugram knew no bounds. Today, 489 beneficiaries received possession letters of 100 yards each in the program. Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Bidhan said that the Haryana government is continuously implementing public welfare policies with seriousness on the ground.

The Haryana government has reiterated its commitment towards Antyodaya upliftment by giving allotment letters of 100-100 square yard plots to eligible BPL families under ambitious schemes like Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti.

Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Bidhan was addressing the district level program of distribution of plot possession allotment letters as the chief guest. The program was organized at the Community Center located in Sector-27. The Divisional Commissioner presented plot possession allotment letters to 489 eligible beneficiaries of Sohna, Farrukhnagar and Pataudi blocks. The address of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was broadcast live in the program.

Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Bidhan said that under the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana, colonies will be developed along the boundaries of the village. The colonies will be connected to the village by making paved roads. He said that the Haryana government is ensuring that all facilities are available in the colonies being developed and eligible beneficiaries in every village must get the benefits of the scheme. The Divisional Commissioner clarified that the facility of application on the online portal will be made available for the eligible beneficiaries who have been deprived of the scheme.

He said that if land is not available for allotment of plots in any village, then such a person will be provided financial assistance upto a maximum of one lakh rupees by the government to buy the plot. While wishing the beneficiaries of the plot possession allotment letter, he assured them that in case of any problem regarding plot possession or road, they can contact the Block Development and Panchayat Officer. The chief guest also called upon the Gram Panchayats to cooperate in making the scheme successful. On this occasion, CEO of Zila Parishad Jagnivas, Block Development and Panchayat Officer Naresh Kumar and other dignitaries were present.
