Gujarat traffic policeman killed his 10 year old son by poisoning him, FIR Registered in Navsari

Gujarat News: A traffic policeman in Navsari city of Gujarat poisoned his 10-year-old son and then dumped the child’s body in a room in his office, police said on Sunday. A police official said that Sanjay Baria (37) allegedly killed his son Vansh and then dumped his body in a room of the traffic post.

Superintendent of Police (Navsari) Sushil Agarwal said that Sanjay Baria called his wife at around 03:40 pm on Saturday and informed her about his son. He said that the accused is absconding and a team has been formed to catch him. Police said that Sanjay Baria’s wife Rekha said in her complaint that the accused had taken the son with him to work on Friday afternoon and when she later tried to contact him on the phone, it was switched off.

Gave information to his wife by fanning
Police said Sanjay Baria’s motorcycle was later found abandoned in the city, but there was no trace of the father-son duo. According to the First Information Report, the accused called his wife on Saturday afternoon and told her about the body. Police were informed and when they went there to investigate, they found the boy foaming at the mouth and a rope tied around his neck.

Sushil Agarwal said that a case has been registered under section 302 (murder) of the IPC and a team has been formed to nab the accused. The officer said that Baria was a traffic brigade jawan deployed to assist the traffic police.
