Gorakhpur News Trial of first phase of Gonda Burhwal rail section third line ann

Gorakhpur News: For the safety and security of the passengers, work is going on to expand the railway line across the country. Along with developing the stations, third rail lines are being laid at many places, which will reduce the travel time and also increase the capacity of the trains. The inspection and speed trial of the first phase of the third line in the Gonda-Budhwal section will be held on July 4 in the presence of the Railway Protection Commissioner.

Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Railway Pankaj Kumar Singh said that keeping in mind the new vision of New India in accordance with the aspirations of the common man, work is being done at a fast pace on the expansion and development of infrastructure. For the convenience of the passengers and operational ease, the work of Gonda Kachhari-Karnailganj section (23.65 km) is in progress in the first phase of construction of the third railway line of Northeast Railway’s Gonda-Budhwal section (61.72 km). On July 4, the Railway Safety Commissioner will inspect and conduct a speed trial of this third railway line.

The third line will save time for railway passengers
A total of 4 big and 24 small bridges and 2 RUBs have been built between Gonda Kachhari-Karnailganj stations. There are a total of 5 stations in it, which include Gonda Kachhari, Kathola, Maijapur, Kasturi and Karnailganj stations. These stations include Gonda Kachhari, Maijapur, Karnailganj Crossing, Kathola and Kasturi Halt stations, for which separate new station buildings have been constructed. With the opening of the third rail line between Gonda Kachhari-Karnailganj stations, the line capacity will improve and more trains will be able to run on this section as per the public aspirations.

Construction of the third line from Gonda to Budhwal will reduce travel time and increase line capacity. Economic, social and cultural activities will increase and the region will move towards rapid development. Construction of this third rail line along with electrification will promote environmental protection. The construction of the third rail line on the Gonda-Budhwal section will cost Rs 714.34 crore. The work of this third rail line is to be completed in four phases.

The project is planned to complete the work of Karnailganj-Ghagra Ghat (21.77 km) section in the second phase, Ghagra Ghat-Budhwal (11.77 km) section in the third phase and Gonda Junction, Gonda Kachhari (4.88 km) section in the fourth phase. The third line construction project is located in Gonda, Bahraich and Barabanki districts of Uttar Pradesh. This project includes the work of 10 big and 36 small bridges including 1 important railway bridge on the Saryu river.
