In its security-focused blog, Google has also given information about the measures that have been taken to protect users from suspicious apps, malware and online scams. In addition to blocking approximately 2.28 million apps from publishing due to policy violations and banning approximately 3,33,000 developer accounts, the Play Store also rejected or rejected approximately two million app applications for not ensuring the proper use of sensitive permissions. Along with this, Play Store has also filed a legal case in the Federal Court against two app developers who are trying to upload fraudulent investment and crypto exchange apps. People who joined these apps were asked to pay deposits and later their access was blocked. Google alleges that these two Chinese citizens had given false identity and location and given wrong information about these apps to publish on Play Store. These fraud crypto apps are estimated to have more than one lakh downloads.
