Gonda News: In Gonda district, Gonda District Officer Neha Sharma has adopted a unique method of listening to the problems of the villagers and resolving them in their own Gram Panchayat. District Officer Neha Sharma herself is sitting on the ground with district level officials in the Gram Chaupal program and listening to the problems of the public and the problems of the public are also being resolved on the spot. Gonda District Officer Neha Sharma has taken an important step in the direction of ‘Village’s problem, solution in the village’. Village Chaupal will be held once again in the villages located in the far-flung areas of the district. It has been started today from 21st June. The presence of district level officers of tehsil, development block and all the concerned departments has been made mandatory in these Chaupals. Along with this, the concerned police station in-charge and area officer have been instructed to compulsorily participate with the land dispute register, festival register, HS register and information about major incidents that have happened in the village.

District Magistrate Neha Sharma has told that before this Gram Chaupal 01 was started and Gram Chaupal 01 was a successful start. After the success of Gram Chaupal 1, Gram Chaupal has been started. Mostly those villages have been included in the Gram Chaupal where most complaints were coming in Janta Darshan. All our departmental officers are also present during the Gram Chaupal. Action is being taken for quick resolution after listening to the problems. The DM has started the Gram Chaupal from June 21 today, which is organized in the far-flung villages of Gonda district. 5-5 villages of 16 blocks have been identified.
