Garhwa Accident: People got angry over the death of two children in a road accident, set the pickup van on fire

Jharkhand Road Accident: A tragic accident took place in Garhwa, Jharkhand on Tuesday afternoon. Two school children lost their lives in a collision between a pickup van and an auto. Seven-eight children were also injured in the accident. Angry people set the pickup van on fire. Ranka DSP, Garhwa BDO and the police team also had to face the crowd’s protest. After the accident, the crowd’s anger erupted on vehicles as well. Attempts to convince the crowd failed.

Finally, the police controlled the crowd by lathicharge. It is being told that after school hours at R.N. Tagore School in Sahijana Mohalla, the auto was carrying children to Jata village. A speeding pickup van coming from the other direction hit the auto. The collision between the auto and the pickup van created a ruckus among the children. There were 12 children in the auto. The auto was badly damaged in the accident. People from nearby areas immediately reached the spot.

Two children died in collision between auto and pickup van

The children were taken out of the auto and sent to Garhwa Sadar Hospital. Doctors declared two children dead. Other children have suffered serious injuries. On receiving the news of the children being injured, the family members reached the hospital. They also chased away the fire brigade that had come to extinguish the fire in the pickup van. Please note that Garhwa bypass road is still under construction. Vehicle movement has started on the under-construction road. In recent times, many accidents have taken place on Garhwa bypass road.
