Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Congress: Politics has heated up in Rajasthan over ‘one state one election’. While Congress is accusing the Bhajan Lal government, now Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has said that due to fear of defeat, Congress had conducted panchayat elections in parts, but even after this, the people of the state completely rejected the Congress.

In Sikar, the Union Minister said, ‘Development work is hindered due to the code of conduct imposed in view of the elections being held at different times in the country. Therefore, BJP is moving ahead with the resolution of holding simultaneous elections in the country, because we have full faith in our leadership, workers and our working style.’

He said that this is the first time in the 35-year democratic history of the state that despite being in power, the Congress has not been able to elect its presidents in many districts. A party which is opposing One State-One Election has no right to make such comments on the BJP government.

Rajasthan will become the growth engine of the country’s development
Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the kind of budget presented under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will definitely work as a growth engine for the development of the state as well as the country. Shekhawat said, this budget has been prepared by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi It reflects the vision of developed India and is a very important step towards making the state’s economy Rs 30 lakh crore.

He said that during my tenure as Jal Shakti Minister, I did important work towards providing tap water to every household in the country through Jal Jeevan Mission. Due to the Congress government in Rajasthan at that time, this scheme could not gain momentum. He said, as soon as the BJP government was formed in the state, I got an agreement with Haryana regarding the pending issue of Yamuna’s surplus water coming to Rajasthan for 20 years. After this agreement, there will be absolutely no water crisis in the coming days in the entire Rajasthan including Churu, Sikar and Jhunjhunu.
