Bihar Flood: With the rise in the water level of Bagmati, dozens of panchayats of Muzaffarpur have lost connectivity. Flood water has entered many places. Water has accumulated in schools and colleges. After continuous rains and continuous rainfall in the Terai region of Nepal, the water level of Bagmati river is once again increasing. Due to this, the danger of flood has started looming in the district.

Continuous rain increased trouble in Muzaffarpur

Let us tell you that after the rain in the last two days, the water level of Bagmati has increased by about one foot and the problem of the people of Muzaffarpur has increased. Due to the dam being located in the western part, the degree college of Bakuchi is surrounded by water. Apart from the verandah of the college, water has also entered the classrooms and there is about two feet of water in the class.

Along with this, flood water has also entered the school rapidly. People’s livelihood and work have started getting affected.

Administration is on alert mode regarding flood- SDM

Seeing the rise in the water level of the Bagmati river, East SDM Amit Kumar said that water has entered some places. The Bagmati river is currently below the danger mark. Zonal officers are camping on the spot and the disaster management department is also on alert. Along with this, boats have been arranged for the movement of people. Water has entered some fields. The situation is normal now and the district administration is completely on alert mode to deal with the upcoming challenge.
