The farmers’ organization and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee have come out openly in support of Kulwinder Kaur, accused of slapping Kangana. SGPC general secretary Rajinder Singh Mehta said that Kangana should not use such words that hurt others. There will be a reaction to the action. At the same time, the leader of the United Kisan Morcha, Sarwan Singh Pandher, said that the farmers’ organization will take out a march today regarding this matter.
Farmer organizations today assembled at Gurudwara Shri Amb Sahib in Mohali and announced to take out an Insaaf Morcha on foot to the SSP Mohali office. During this Insaaf Morcha, a memorandum of demands will be submitted to the Mohali SSP. On Friday, farmer leaders Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Sarwan Singh Pandher, Abhimanyu Kohad, Amarjit Singh Mohri, Sukhjit Singh, Jaswinder Longowal, Gurinder Bhanghu, Ranjit Raju of the United Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha met Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav in the Kangana Ranaut case and demanded a fair investigation into the matter.
Sarwan Singh Pandher told the DGP that by giving political colour to the matter, pressure is being exerted on the police to register a case against the CISF woman security personnel under wrong sections. Pandher has appealed for a fair investigation.
Before meeting the Punjab DGP, the United Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha interacted with the media at Kisan Bhawan in Chandigarh. During this, Dallewal and Pandher targeted the central government. Pandher said that due to the anger of the farmers, the BJP was wiped out in Punjab this time. The impact of the farmers’ movement was not only in Punjab but nationwide. Farmer leaders said that in the coming time, the movement will be expanded in many states including Haryana and Maharashtra, for which a strategy is being prepared.

Mansa lawyer Jaswant Singh Grewal will fight the legal battle for Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF employee who slapped MP Kangana Ranaut. He has left for Chandigarh to talk to Kulwinder Kaur’s family and inspect the scene of the incident. He has also appealed to other lawyers to help him fight the legal battle on behalf of Kulwinder Kaur.
Grewal said that when Kulwinder Kaur was on duty at the airport, Kangana arrived there to go to Delhi. While performing her duty, Kulwinder Kaur asked all passengers to get their luggage checked due to security issues, then Kangana argued with her and abused her. Angered by this, Kulwinder Kaur slapped Kangana. Jaswant Singh said that he will support Kulwinder Kaur in every kind of legal battle.
