New Delhi. Australia’s cricket team recently won the 3-match T20 series against Scotland 3-0. After winning the series, Australian captain Mitchell Marsh was given a trophy which was different. Usually this kind of trophy is not seen being given to any team. Everyone was surprised to see this trophy. Some called this trophy, which looks like an ice cream cup, a small bowl, while some called it a kadhai. The Australian players themselves were surprised to see this. Their laughter was unstoppable. This trophy in Marsh’s hand looked like a small toy. But later it was known what this thing was. It had a direct connection with whiskey.
This bowl-like object is known as ‘quaich’ in Scotland. This small bowl is traditionally used to drink whisky or other beverages. The national drink of Scotland is Scotch. Australian players also celebrated by pouring whisky into this bowl-like object after winning the T20 series.
