After the voting of the last phase of Lok Sabha elections, the exit polls (post-poll surveys) have come out. In all the surveys, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has been predicted to get a huge majority. In these, the ruling coalition NDA has been predicted to open its account in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Along with this, a one-sided victory has also been predicted in Karnataka again.
In this Lok Sabha election, BJP had given the slogan of ‘400 Paar’ for its alliance. Currently, three surveys have predicted that BJP+ will get 400 or more seats. If the exit polls prove to be true, then Modi will equal the record of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in terms of leading his party to victory in the elections for the third consecutive time. In the 2019 elections, BJP had won 303 seats, while the NDA’s number was 353. Congress got 53 seats and its allies got 38 seats.
