Cancer Encounter News: The joint operation of CRPF, Chhattisgarh Police and Maharashtra Police against Naxalites is going on since Friday morning in the forests of Abujhmad, Takameta, Kokur and Maad on the border of Kanker Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, bordering Maharashtra. There is also information about encounter with Naxalites during this period. Police have so far recovered the bodies of five Naxalites. The police have also seized two weapons and explosives.
In fact, the police and intelligence agency had received information a day earlier about the presence of more than 100 Naxalites in the forests of Abujhmad located on the border of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. After receiving the information, CRPF, Chhattisgarh Police and Maharashtra Police surrounded the Naxalites from all sides. During this time, there is continuous firing from the Naxalites also.

In Kanker Narayanpur district, an encounter is going on between the police and Naxalites in the forests of Maad since morning. According to Kanker SP Kalyan Alisela, there is news of many Naxalites being killed in the encounter. So far, official information has been received that 5 bodies have been recovered.
Two soldiers also injured
Two soldiers have been reported injured during the ongoing encounter in the forests of Kanker. The condition of the injured soldiers is out of danger. Necessary arrangements are being made for better treatment of both the injured soldiers. MI-17 helicopter was used to rescue the injured soldiers from the forest and they were airlifted to Raipur. The soldiers are being taken to Raipur for better treatment.
According to local media reports, security forces say that the encounter is not over yet and the search operation is going on in the area. Naxalites are expected to suffer huge losses in this encounter. This operation is considered to be the biggest operation against Naxalites so far and all major security agencies are alert about it.
