Eknath Shinde On Girls Sister Scheme: Before the assembly elections in Maharashtra, the ruling party and the opposition are face to face over the state’s ‘Majhi Ladki Behen’ scheme. Questions are being raised about this scheme. There are even speculations that this scheme will be discontinued. Now the reaction of the state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has come to the fore regarding this. He has assured that all eligible sisters will get its benefits.

Maharashtra CM Shinde wrote on social media, “I saw reports that my sisters are standing in queue in front of the bank since night to get KYC of their accounts under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana done. I tell my sisters again, do not trouble yourself by unnecessary haste. All eligible sisters will get the benefit of this scheme. Your brothers themselves are looking after this scheme. Do not worry.”

He also wrote, “Even if you believe in this scheme, some people have doubts about this scheme. He also said that if you give us strength, we will increase this scheme from 1500 to 2000 or even more. No scheme started by the government will be allowed to stop.”

What did Deputy CM Fadnavis say?

Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has also expressed his reaction on this. He said, “Opposition parties do not study the budget, nor do they understand how funds are allocated and used. They only know how to make allegations. We have allocated all the funds separately for the Ladli Behan scheme. We have not compromised on any other scheme in the budget. All the schemes of the state including the Ladli Behan scheme are running smoothly.”

Separate funds allocated for Ladki Behan Yojana- Fadnavis

Earlier, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while addressing the gathering, said that the opposition is misleading people by claiming that the money earmarked for the welfare of Dalits, tribals and farmers is being used for the Ladki Behen Yojana. He said, ‘This is not true. Separate funds have been allocated for the Ladki Behen Yojana. This scheme will not be stopped. It will continue.’

Let me tell you that a few days ago the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had started ‘Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana’, under which all women are being given Rs 1500 per month.
