State government’s education minister Madan Dilawar says that he does not see any more corrupt and dishonest leader than the former Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara. Dotasara not only committed financial scams during his tenure as education minister in the Gehlot government and state president of his party, but also provided undue benefits to his close relatives by implementing arbitrary rules and regulations in teacher recruitment.

Today, to save themselves from going to jail after the government is gone, they are staging a drama of dharna and hunger strike. Education Minister Dilawar was answering questions of journalists at the BJP office here on Saturday. He said that it is necessary in the interest of students to close the Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools run by the previous government.

Dilawar says that he has no problem with the English language, but the study of English should be a continuous process. Classes should be upgraded every year from the lower level. On the contrary, the Gehlot government has played a prank by giving admission in English medium in class six to those who studied in Hindi medium till class V. Regarding arbitrary fees charged by private schools, Dilawar said that 97% of private school managements are imparting education with a spirit of service and not looting in fees. Action will be taken against the 3% school managements who are charging arbitrary fees.
