A double murder investigation been launched after two men died in an e-bike crash in Surrey.
The men, both in their 20s, died after a collision involving a black e-bike on the A316 southbound slip road on to the M3 at Sunbury, shortly after midnight on Monday.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died later in hospital on the same day, according to Surrey Police.
Four people have been arrested over the incident, including a 29-year-old man from Sunbury on suspicion of murder.
Two men aged 24 – one from Feltham and one from Walton-on-Thames – have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old woman from North Yorkshire has been detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All four suspects are in police custody.
Detective Inspector Debbie Birch said police want to trace the “movements and manner of driving of a black e-bike and a black Ford Ranger” travelling through the area at the time.
“Our thoughts are with the families of the two victims at this incredibly difficult time,” she added.
“Our investigation is still in the early stages, and our officers are working around the clock to establish the circumstances of this incident and gather evidence.”

Inspector Matt Walton urged people not to share “photos, memes or footage you might see in relation to this incident”.
“We appreciate that this incident will have come as a shock to the local community, particularly to those who knew the victims,” he said.
“We are also aware that there has been some online commentary which has caused great distress to the victims’ families.
“Our investigation is still in the early stages, and we ask the public not to speculate on the circumstances while we are still carrying out inquiries.”
