Donald Trump has confirmed Elon Musk will co-lead a government department in his cabinet.
The president-elect said on Tuesday that the Tesla and X owner will work with former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the department of government efficiency.
He said the pair “will pave the way for my administration to dismantle government bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies”.
