In the case of a rape victim teenager giving birth to a child in the absence of treatment in the CHC premises in Meerut, the team constituted by the District Magistrate has found negligence on the part of the doctor and health workers. ADM Finance Suryakant Tripathi has submitted the investigation report to the DM. DM Deepak Meena has written a letter to the CMO and asked for action against the doctor. CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan has removed Dr. Sarit Tomar and a staff nurse from the CHC. The doctor has been attached to the headquarters and the nurse to another CHC.

A father of two children raped a 13 year old girl from a village in Sardhana area for eight months. Due to this, the girl became pregnant. On Friday, when the condition of the pregnant rape victim deteriorated, her family took her to Sardhana CHC. There, the victim kept writhing in pain for about one and a half hours, but the health workers did not pay any attention. As the labor pain increased, the pregnant girl gave birth to the child on the bench in the CHC premises.
