Sea: Russell Viper snake is said to be one of the most poisonous snakes in the world. These snakes are found all over the Asian continent. But, Russell Viper snake wreaked havoc in Sagar city of Madhya Pradesh. Actually, a few days ago a snake catcher caught a female Russell Viper snake from the middle of a densely populated area. During the rescue it appeared that she had eaten something, but after a few days she gave birth to about 32 babies.
In such a situation, it was estimated that if this snake had given birth to babies in the densely populated area of Sagar and these 32 snakes had spread, it would have been a big disaster. Sagar’s snake catcher Akil Baba said that Russell Viper is a very dangerous snake. It is so poisonous that a person can die within 5 minutes of its bite. Four days ago, he had caught this female snake from Lodhipura village near the city.

He further said that when he rescued the Russell Viper snake, he thought that it had eaten something, that is why it looked fat. During that time, he locked it in a box and kept it at his puncture shop. But, when he opened the box after three days and saw it, he was shocked. The female Russell Viper had given birth to about 32 pups in the box. Then he realized that this extremely dangerous snake was rescued in time.

Snake catcher Akil Baba said that 4 days ago, there was a report of Russell Viper hiding in a flower bed in a house. He further said that due to being locked in the box, the female Russell Viper was trying to eat her children, so the children have been kept in a separate box. All these snakes are so dangerous that if they bite a person, his death is certain. They were caught in time. If they had spread in the area, they could have caused terrible destruction. After two-four days, they will be released in the forest.
Don’t mistake it for a dragon
Akil Baba, who has been doing snake rescue for 32 years, said that people should be careful during the rainy season, because poisonous creatures come out due to water filling in the burrows. Secondly, python and Russell viper look almost the same. There is a slight difference of brown spots between Russell viper and python, which deceives people. If people become careless in fear of python, then this Russell viper can take their life.
