Damoh. MP A strange case has come to light from Damoh district of Uttar Pradesh. Where a young man’s sapling was stolen. Actually, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had started a campaign named ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. In Damoh district too, aware people planted saplings in gardens, government offices, vacant places and some people even planted saplings at home.

In the same sequence, Rohit Rathore, who lives in Vardhman Colony of Aam Chaupra Gram Panchayat of Damoh district, also bought two Ashoka saplings from Sagar Naka at the rate of Rs 50 for the purpose of saving and preserving the environment like a responsible citizen and planted them outside the house and started taking care of those saplings. After this, it was stolen.

When road construction work started, the trees disappeared
Rohit Rathore not only took care of the Ashoka trees like a son for about 2 months, but he also became very fond of these trees. Meanwhile, when the road construction work was started by the Gram Panchayat, Rohit kept those plants adjacent to the wall of the house. So that he could plant them again after the construction work. Meanwhile, some unknown thief stole those plants. Saddened by this incident, Rohit Rathore reached the Damoh Collectorate office with a complaint letter regarding the matter. Where the complainant has submitted a complaint letter in the Collectorate office, mentioning the names of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, local MLA Jayant Malaiya and Damoh Superintendent of Police in his application form.

Now Damoh police will investigate
The incident of tree theft is not common, because if the police is not able to catch the unknown thieves in time, then these thieves can carry out a major theft anywhere. In such a situation, every citizen of the city may have to take appropriate steps to protect their home and property. Therefore, Damoh Collector has taken this matter seriously and directed Damoh Police to investigate the matter. Regarding this whole matter, Rohit Rathore told Local 18 that he had raised these trees like a son. I am very sad that they have been stolen.
