Heavy rain in some areas of Delhi on Monday morning brought relief from humidity. This made the weather pleasant. However, the sun came out after some time. The game of hide and seek between the sun and clouds continued throughout the day. 002.7 mm of rain was recorded in Delhi till 5:30 pm. Due to the rain in the morning, waterlogging occurred at many places. This caused a lot of trouble to the drivers.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain for the next seven days. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 35.2 and the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.0 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. The highest rainfall in Delhi was recorded at 037.2 mm in the Ridge. While 031.8 mm was recorded in Palam, 002.0 mm in Lodi Road and 001.2 mm in Ayanagar.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is weak in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi right now. But still there is a possibility of light rain. The conditions for heavy rain are not being created yet. Now the department has predicted light rain till next Sunday. Due to this, the maximum temperature will remain between 34-35 degrees Celsius. While the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 25-27 degrees.
