Delhi AQI Today: The double attack of weather on the people of Delhi continues for the eighth day. Air pollution is still in very bad category. On December 1, the highest morning AQI in Rohini was recorded at 340. Bhalswa landfill recorded 336, Dwarka 334 and Alipur 332 AQI. Whereas in Najafgarh the lowest was recorded at 292.

Delhi’s air quality remained in the “very poor” category for the seventh consecutive day on Saturday and the air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 346. According to the Air Quality Early Warning System, the city’s air quality is expected to remain in the ‘very poor’ category for the next three days due to adverse weather.

Average AQI 346

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s 24-hour average AQI was recorded at 346 at 4 pm on Saturday, which is higher than 331 recorded on Friday.
Of the 38 monitoring stations in Delhi, only Shadipur recorded the air quality index in the ‘severe’ category. According to Sameer App, which provides hourly updates of national AQI published by CPCB, the AQI at 34 stations was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 400 ‘poor’. An AQI between 500 is considered in the ‘severe’ category.

Minimum temperature reached below double digits

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of the day on Sunday is expected to be 27 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 11 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 26.8, which is one percent more than normal. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 9.8 which is below normal.
