Delhi Weather Forecast: On Monday (1 June), people in the national capital Delhi once again faced some trouble due to the humid heat. Despite the forecast of rain on Monday, it did not rain in the capital. However, now there is a possibility of heavy rain here for the next two days. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange’ alert in Delhi for the next two days.

According to the forecast of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 36.1 degrees Celsius, which is 1.7 degrees below the season’s average, while the minimum temperature was 27.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this season.

Orange alert issued in Delhi due to rain

Private weather forecasting agency Skymet said in a post on ‘X’, “Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) have got some relief from heavy rains in the last two days. However, weather experts predict that rain activities may resume again, rain may intensify in Delhi from July 2. ” According to the seven-day forecast of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there will be an ‘orange’ alert in the capital due to rain.

How will the weather be in Delhi for the next 7 days?

According to the weather forecast, the sky will remain cloudy for the next seven days, moderate to heavy rain will occur in the next two days and thunderstorms with strong winds will occur across the city. Earlier, the IMD had forecast moderate to heavy rains and an ‘orange’ alert was issued in the capital for Monday. However, no rain was recorded.

Many accidents occurred due to heavy rain in Delhi

Many accidents happened in Delhi due to heavy rains in the past few days. The Delhi government has said that it will give a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the people who lost their lives in these accidents. Delhi’s Water Minister Atishi had given instructions to give compensation on Sunday. On June 28, there was heavy rain in Delhi. After this, there were reports of waterlogging in different areas of the capital and accidents caused by rain. In which some people have also lost their lives.
