Delhi Metro News: Anuj Dayal, Chief Executive Director, DMRC said that the National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has given dual recognition to Delhi Metro Rail Academy (DMRA) for better functioning. This recognition is proof that DMRA meets the highest standards for providing approved training programs as per the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and conducting rigorous assessment as per the ‘National Credit Framework (NCRF)’.

According to Anuj Dayal, as an awarding body, DMRA is now recognised to develop, deliver and certify vocational training programmes, in addition, as an assessment agency, DMRA is entrusted with the responsibility to assess and certify the qualifications of professionals.

DMRA has the capacity to train 900 youth in a day

He said that DMRC is a premier training institute dedicated to the development of skilled professionals. The Delhi Metro Rail Academy established by DMRC provides comprehensive training programmes covering various aspects of metro rail operations, maintenance and management. DMRA can accommodate over 900 trainees a day. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and experienced faculty.

He said that DMRC provides practical training and theoretical knowledge to the newly recruited and existing employees of DMRC as well as other metros including abroad through several specially curated programmes. Over the years, DMRA has successfully trained more than 70 thousand trainees of DMRC and more than 4 thousand trainees of other metros in India and abroad.
