Delhi Dwarka Police and Palam 360 Khap start big campaign against drug addiction ann

Delhi Dehat News: Under the Government of India’s drug-free campaign, Dwarka Police and Palam 360 Khap have started a joint initiative to save people from drug addiction by making them aware. Under this campaign, a program was organized in Ishapur village of Delhi rural on Saturday. A street play was staged in Ishapur village, the purpose of which was to give the message of avoiding drug addiction to the people.

Apart from local people, women and children, many people from other villages also came to see this street play. While the District Captain attended this program as the chief guest.

It is important to keep the youth away from drug addiction: DCP

DCP Ankit Singh said on this occasion that this effort is being made on the directions of the Government of India. This is the first event organized in this village of Najafgarh under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. This will continue in the future as well. In other villages too, people will be made aware about the ill effects of drug abuse and how to avoid it through street plays. So that people, especially children and youth, can be kept away from drug addiction.

Chaudhary Surendra Solanki, head of Palam 360 Khap, said that it has just started from Ishapur village. In the coming time, they will take this campaign forward to all the villages of Delhi. So that the effort to keep children and youth away from drugs can be fruitful. He said that this effort of Dwarka Police along with the villagers to keep children and youth away from drugs is very commendable. The people of Delhi rural are with the police. He said that such programs will be organized in the villages as well as colonies.
