Delhi Politics: The festival season has started. These days, Ramlilas are being organized at various places in Delhi and preparations for Durga Puja have started. Due to festivals, there is a crowd of buyers in the markets also. Also, due to Navratri, huge crowd gathers in temples.
But this time various parties have targeted an order of Delhi Police. In fact, Delhi Police has issued an order on September 30, according to which, in view of certain circumstances in Delhi, Section 163 of the Indian Justice Code has been implemented, under which any protest by more than 4 people together in public is prohibited in many areas of Delhi. A ban has been imposed on demonstrations or organizing events.
On one hand, Ramlila organizers and the priests of Kalkaji temple have reached the Supreme Court in protest against this new order of Delhi Police, while on the other hand, due to the assembly elections to be held in Delhi after a few months, political parties have made it a big issue. . Especially Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are making it a political issue.
Aam Aadmi Party is raising questions on the timing of this order and calling it dictatorship. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said what kind of dictatorship is this, what kind of orders are these. I don’t remember that such a section has ever been imposed in the history of this city in the history of this country. That too must have been installed during festival time. Atishi said that Navratri is starting, Ramlila is starting.
CM said that there is no more sacred time than this in Hindu religion. Every family organizes events at its own level. Kirtan takes place in every street. There is a program in every temple. If you stop people from gathering at such a time, it is natural that it will hurt the religious sentiments of the people. CM Atishi Said that this issue has now gone to the Supreme Court and we have hope from there.
Regarding this step of Delhi Police, Bharatiya Janata Party says that this step has been taken keeping in mind the safety of the people of Delhi so that law and order can be maintained in the capital under all circumstances. BJP is attacking those who oppose this order. According to Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ajay Mahawar, questions are being raised on this order for Muslim appeasement and instigating religious sentiments.
Along with Aam Aadmi Party, Congress is also raising this issue vigorously. Delhi Pradesh Congress chief Devendra Yadav has also met the Police Commissioner regarding this. Of course, this order of Delhi Police is only from 30th September to 5th October. But in the election season, such an order has given a big political issue to the political parties.
