Delhi Municipal Corporation is preparing for big action
After the Rajendra Nagar incident, the Delhi Municipal Corporation has identified many illegal buildings. The Mayor of the Municipal Corporation has formed a high-level committee. Major action can begin by this evening. Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena ordered the Divisional Commissioner to investigate the entire matter. He also said that the report should be submitted after completing the entire investigation by Tuesday.

Post mortem of a student
The body of Shreya Yadav, one of the three deceased students, was taken from RML Hospital after post-mortem. The accident took place due to waterlogging in the basement of the coaching centre.

NOC will be withdrawn from coaching center
Giving information, Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg said that we got information about the incident at 7.12 pm yesterday. We sent five fire engines to the spot. When we reached there, we saw that the basement was flooded. The level of the road and the basement had become equal. When the water on the road decreased, the work of removing water and pumping started. Three bodies were recovered. The building was given a fire NOC and the basement was to be used for storage and parking. The owner misused it. We will take action against them and now we will take back their NOC.

LG’s action on Rajendra Nagar accident
On the Delhi coaching centre incident, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that such incidents point to criminal negligence, lack of maintenance by agencies and departments. The divisional commissioner has been asked to submit a report covering every aspect of the Delhi coaching centre incident by Tuesday.

Students sit on dharna against Delhi government
After the Old Rajendra Nagar incident, the students have started a protest against the Delhi government, MCD and the coaching institute where three students died last Saturday night due to waterlogging in the basement of the institute. The students said that there are no safety measures.

Additional DCP Sachin Sharma got emotional while talking to the students on the Delhi Coaching Centre incident. He said that three people have died. Why would we hide anything. We assure you that our team will do whatever is legally possible. Appealing to the students, he said that I was a part of you. I can completely understand what you are going through.
