After two years, the air in the capital became very bad a day before Diwali. On Wednesday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 307, while it was recorded at 220 in the year 2023 and 259 in the year 2022 which was in the poor category. In such a situation, due to fireworks on the day of Diwali, there is a possibility of the air being recorded in severe category on Friday.
