During the Kanwar fair, the hotels, dhabas, hawkers and stall traders on the Yatra route will be able to do business only by revealing their identity. After the order to paste names in Western Uttar Pradesh, now Haridwar Police has also implemented this rule.
Senior Superintendent of Police Pramod Singh Dobal said that every small and big trader doing business on the Kanwar Yatra route will have to display his name, QR code, mobile phone number. Action will be taken against those who do not follow this. This rule has been implemented so that there is no dispute during the journey. Because many times there are disputes between Kanwariyas and small and big traders, this step has been taken to prevent all this.
