MP News: Madhya Pradesh government has become serious in dealing with cyber crime. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav suddenly reached the State Cyber Police Headquarters in Bhopal on Tuesday afternoon. He discussed prevention of cyber crime with police officers.
After the end of the meeting at the Cyber Police Headquarters, the Chief Minister addressed the journalists. He said that the police is doing very little to prevent cyber crime in Madhya Pradesh.
The Chief Minister announced that now cyber desks will be established in every police station of the state. He said that it is very important for people to be aware to deal with cyber fraud. Recently a case of digital arrest came to light. Dubai businessmen were under digital arrest for 6 hours.
The Chief Minister appreciated the action of Cyber Police. He said that the Madhya Pradesh Police team went to the spot and saved the businessman from being cheated. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that in a case like digital arrest, the victim was rescued by taking live action.
MP government strict on increasing cases of cyber crime
He said that cyber awareness campaign will have to be run on a large scale in the state. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also appealed to the people of the state. He said to be alert and cautious of fraudsters. There is no provision like digital arrest in the law. Inform the police immediately about such incidents.
Police will be ready to help you. The Chief Minister also spoke to the victim of digital arrest on phone. Dubai businessman Vivek Oberoi expressed his gratitude to Madhya Pradesh Police. He said that the police came as angels and saved me. Let us tell you that cases of cyber crime are increasing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh. The fraudsters are not sparing even the VIPs along with the common man.
