CM Yogi Adityanath sends 1056 crore money in students' parents' accounts.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath released an amount of Rs 1056 crore for 88 lakh children in the Medhavi Samman Samaroh program organized in Lucknow’s Lok Bhavan on Saturday. This amount went directly to the parents’ account through DBT. Under this, every child was given Rs 1200.

On this occasion, the CM honoured the meritorious students. The Chief Minister gave Rs 1 lakh, tablet and gold medal to each of the meritorious students and told them to study hard. He gave books to the children of class one and two and instructed to order chocolates for them. He asked the children about their name, address and school and said that all of you will get chocolates now. For the first time in the state, books based on NCERT syllabus have been distributed in class one and two.

In seven years, schemes were delivered to every school

Minister of State for Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep Singh said that education plays an important role in the upliftment and all-round development of any society. A developed society cannot be imagined without education. The government has worked to educate the entire society. In the last seven years, schemes have been delivered to every school.

There is a huge difference today as compared to the situation in council schools as of 2017. All the 19 basic parameters have been brought up to 95 percent. Will soon achieve 100 percent. Today’s era is of technology. Children cannot be kept away from it. Two tablets have been given to 2.9 lakh schools. Smart classes have been established in 880 ICT labs, 18381 council, higher and Kasturba schools. Today, an amount of Rs.1200 has been released to 88 lakh students in the first phase. In the second phase, this amount will be sent to the remaining students as well in July.

It is not easy to top among lakhs of students

Minister of State for Secondary Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi said that topping among lakhs of students is not an easy task. It is my wish that all of you contribute to the service of the country by becoming capable citizens. She said that the education department is setting new records of success. This year also the board exams were free from cheating and were fair. The exams were conducted in 12 days, there was no paper leak, nor any irregularity. 280 new government intermediate, high schools etc. were opened. Schools were also opened in unserved areas.

In the teacher selection, 6314 assistant teachers, 1890 lecturers and 230 principals have been appointed. Process of construction of 16 government secondary schools is underway. Out of these 5 are residential. We all are working for the Prime Minister’s one India, best India. Our students are going to other states as well. Biographies of 50 great men have been made a compulsory subject. Praveen Yojana has been started in secondary schools for skill development as well. He told the bright students that children, three things are most important in life; first remembering God, second hard work and third luck. Your luck is made by hard work. If you maintain continuity and prepare, then God’s blessings will shower on you.
