CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting for upcoming festivals like Kanwar Yatra and Muharram

Lucknow News: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh yogi adityanath On Sunday, the Chief Minister held a meeting with senior officials regarding maintaining law and order and successful organization of programs regarding the upcoming festivals. During this, Chief Minister Yogi gave necessary guidelines. He said that the holy Shravan month is starting from July 22. During this, the festival of Shravani Shivratri, Nag Panchami and Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated. Traditional Kanwar Yatra will be held in the month of Shravan.

At the same time, there is a need to be extra cautious about Jagannath Rath Yatra, Muharram and Guru Purnima. From the point of view of Kanwar Yatra, districts bordering Uttarakhand and districts like Ghaziabad, Meerut, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Barabanki, Basti etc. are very important. The local administration should maintain constant communication and coordination between the districts within the state and between the border districts and other states.

The height of the DJ should not exceed a certain limit

It was instructed that Kanwar Yatra is an event of enthusiasm of faith. Traditionally, dance, song, music have been a part of it. Ensure that the sound of DJ, songs, music etc. is as per the prescribed standards. The height of the DJ should not exceed a fixed limit. There should be no open sale and purchase of meat etc. anywhere on the Kanwar Yatra route. Cleanliness should be maintained on the Yatra route. There should be good arrangement of street lights. Take the cooperation of the committees setting up Kanwar camps. While marking the Yatra routes, arrangements for crowd management, route diversion, deployment of police force, CCTV cameras etc. should be made on time.

Fix dangling electrical wires on time

He said that the dilapidated electric poles, dangling electric wires etc. on the route of Kanwar Yatra should be repaired on time. Apart from Kanwar Yatra, a large number of devotees visit Shiva temples in every village, town and city on Monday. In such a situation, the environment around the Shiva temples should be clean. Panchayati Raj and Urban Development Department should take necessary action. It should also be ensured that banned polythene is not used.

Big Tazias should not be included during Muharram procession

In the meeting, instructions were given that the local administration should communicate and coordinate with the committees associated with the Tazia taken out during the Muharram procession and the peace committee. Last year, accidents took place at some places, this year necessary arrangements should be made. The height of the Tazia should be according to tradition. Those who cause accidents should not participate in unnecessarily large Tazia processions. Respect religious tradition and faith, but no action should be against tradition. There should not be any kind of display of weapons in religious processions. There should not be any such incident which hurts the sentiments of people of other religions. Tazia should be kept only where there is no dispute of any kind.

Unruly elements must be dealt with with utmost strictness

He said that all necessary efforts should be made to ensure that every festival is celebrated in peace and harmony. The places for setting up Kanwar camps should be identified in advance so that traffic is not disrupted. Special attention should be paid to mischievous elements. Verify those setting up Kanwar camps. Unruly elements should be dealt with strictly. Monitor with drones as well.
