Some agents of China are doing this work in Bangladesh. Chinese citizens first trap poor girls in the trap of love, then marry them and push them into prostitution in China. The body parts of girls who are unable to do prostitution are smuggled.
According to the Eurasian Times report, on July 1, 2023, a poor widow in Chuadanga, a northern district of Bangladesh, married her 19-year-old daughter to Chinese citizen Cui Po Wei. About 6 months later, Cui Po Wei took his wife to China and forced her into prostitution. The matter came to light when the victim’s mother filed a case in the Dhaka Tribunal on March 31, 2024.
It is not that China is running this racket only in Bangladesh, earlier such reports had also come from Pakistan. It was reported that in 2019, 600 poor Pakistani girls were sold as brides to Chinese boys.
Presented in front of 10-15 customers for sex
The victim’s mother said that the daughter had called on March 11, 2024 and told that her Chinese husband and his companions tortured her a lot. She was presented to 10-15 customers every day. On protesting, she was threatened that if she did not do so, her body parts would be sold. The woman said that the same thing has happened to 4 other poor women.
More than 500 girls were trafficked to China
On May 1, 2024, a woman living in the eastern hilly region of Bangladesh also lodged a complaint with the local police. She told that a gang had held her sister captive in Dhaka with the intention of smuggling her to China. The 21-year-old sister was taken to Dhaka on the pretext of getting her admission in nursing, but she was forced to marry a Chinese citizen. At the same time, Pinky, president of the Chittagong Hill Women’s Association, said that in the last few years, more than 500 girls, whose age is around 13 years, have been taken to China.
