Chhattisgarh election 2023: Voting will be held for 20 assembly seats in the first phase in Chhattisgarh on November 7. The process of filing nominations has started from October 13. These 20 seats include 12 assembly seats of Bastar and 8 of Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency. Where voting will take place, but before that, the electoral field is resonating with the slogan of Hindutva. Both the major political parties Congress and BJP are standing on the basis of Hindutva from Rajnandgaon to Kawardha district. Hindutva issue raised before voting in the first phase
In fact, in election meetings, Congress and BJP are trying to brand each other as anti-Hindu. In the first phase, Congress and BJP have released the names of 19 candidates each for 20 seats. Congress has not yet announced the candidate for Jagdalpur and BJP for Pandariya assembly constituency.
In the remaining areas, Congress and BJP leaders are filing nominations. On Monday (October 16), former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has filed his nomination. Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had addressed the nomination rally of Raman Singh. Where Amit Shah had called Congress anti-Hindu.
