Bastar Dussehra has ended after 77 days. It is considered to be the biggest festival in the world and the tradition of this Dussehra is 800 years old. Yesterday, under the aegis of Bastar Dussehra, a grand event was organized at Lalbagh Maidan on the occasion of Bastar Madai and Regional Saras Fair. Here Daira Band mesmerized the entire audience with the presentation of their song “Aisa Jadoo Hai Mere Bastar Mein”. The melodious tunes and glimpse of locality of the band touched the hearts of the people and made them appreciate the unique culture and beauty of Bastar.

In the programme, the glory of Bastar’s rich folk culture and natural beauty was brought alive through songs, which left the audience especially emotional. This band includes artists from Mumbai along with local artists from Badal Academy and Bastar.

Thousands of spectators present thoroughly enjoyed the program and could not stop themselves from dancing to the tune of the band. The program featured a spectacular performance of Bharatanatyam by Krishnabhadra Namboothiri, as well as local folk dance troupes.
