Chhath Puja 2023: After Diwali, the crowd of people going home on Chhath festival has suddenly increased at the railway stations. Due to large number of passengers going home, the trains appear to be overcrowded. Now similar scenes are being seen at the railway stations of the national capital Delhi as well as at the railway stations of the capital Lucknow. A huge crowd of passengers is seen gathering in trains going to Bihar at Charbagh railway station in Lucknow.

A huge crowd of passengers is being seen in the general and reserve coaches of most of the trains going from Lucknow to Bihar. The crowd has increased so much that there is no space left to stand properly in the general coaches of these trains. There seems to be no lack of enthusiasm among the travelers to go home on Chhath. This is the reason why passengers are somehow boarding the train and heading towards their destination.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced from Lucknow’s Charbagh railway station, in which a crowd of passengers are seen struggling to board the train going to Bihar. During this time, the train appears to be completely packed with passengers. In which there is no space to even step foot, passengers standing on the railway platform are seen knocking on the doors to board it and trying to enter the train.

Traveling by risking life

On the other hand, some passengers are risking their lives and being forced to board the train through the emergency window of the train. Due to Chhath festival, railway station to bus stand is seen packed with passengers. The situation is such that people want to reach home somehow by hanging at the gate if they do not get a seat. At present, Railways had decided to run 10 special unreserved trains from the national capital Delhi, which brought some relief to the passengers.
