Expansion

The number of pilgrims going on the Char Dham Yatra has decreased. Due to this, the Yatra administration has abolished the token system before registration. On an average, 2,600 to 2,700 pilgrims are reaching the counters for registration every day in the transit camp.

From June 1, the Yatra administration had created a slot for registration of 1,500 pilgrims. A few days later, a slot of 2,000 was issued and then it was made 3,000. After that, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the release of a slot of four thousand in Haridwar. Later this compulsion was also abolished.

In the last three days, an average of 2,600 to 2,700 pilgrims are reaching the transit camp to get registered at the counter. There is no crowd of pilgrims in the transit camp premises. Due to less arrival of pilgrims, the Yatra administration has now abolished the system of giving tokens before registration. Now pilgrims are coming directly to the counter, getting registered and leaving for the Chardham Yatra.

The token system has been abolished. On an average, 2,600 to 2,700 pilgrims are registering and going directly to the Char Dham Yatra every day.
