Police say that they have found a liquor bottle and other intoxicants from the car. The incident took place in Nagpur’s Zenda Chowk area.

Nagpur DCP Gorakh Bhamare said that a speeding car crushed three people in the Zenda Chowk area of ​​Kotwali police station at around 8.30 pm on Friday night. A woman, her child and a young man were injured after being hit by the car. People caught one of the accused. They beat up the accused and vandalized the car. Bhamare further said that we have detained three more people including the car driver in the case. Liquor bottles and intoxicants have been recovered from the car. The accused have been sent for medical examination. We have registered a case.

There was a road accident in Pune too

Earlier on Sunday, a minor car rider crushed two bikers in Pune. They died on the spot. The accused is a 17-year-old boy. Both the deceased were engineers by profession. The deceased have been identified as Aneesh Avadhiya and Ashwini Costa. Both were going home after partying. The people around first beat up the accused badly and then handed him over to the police.

The court first granted bail to the accused but later cancelled it

A case was registered against the accused at Yerawada police station under various sections including 279 (rash driving), 304 A (causing death by negligence), 337 (endangering human life) and 338 (causing grievous hurt). The accused was also taken into custody. He was produced in court on Sunday itself. The court released him. The court directed him to write an essay on road accidents and work with Yerawada traffic police for 15 days. Later, when the controversy escalated, the police arrested four people including the accused’s father. Along with this, the accused’s bail was also cancelled and he was also sent to observation home.
