Despite repeated requests from India, Canada is not stopping its activities. In fact, the Canadian government is not leaving any opportunity to woo Khalistani extremists. The latest case is related to Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In fact, a moment of silence was observed in the Canadian Parliament on Tuesday on the completion of one year of the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
It is worth mentioning that Hardeep Singh Nijjar was a wanted terrorist in India and was the head of the extremist organization Khalistan Tiger Force. Nijjar’s name was also included in the list of 40 wanted terrorists released by India. Nijjar was shot dead outside a gurudwara in British Columbia, Canada on June 18 last year. The Canadian government had accused India of killing Nijjar. However, the Indian government had rejected the Canadian allegations calling them absurd. The relations between the two countries had become tense over this matter.
