UP News: Once again questions are being raised on the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. A BJP leader Prempal was shot at 10 pm on Saturday in the state’s Sambhal district. Unknown miscreants on a bike carried out this incident. The condition of the BJP leader is critical after being shot and he is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Moradabad. Prempal is the city president of Chandausi of BJP SC Morcha. The police has deployed a team to arrest the accused.
Actually, the whole matter is from Moradabad. Where BJP leader Prempal was returning home on his bike after attending a meeting at 10 pm on Saturday night. On the way, some miscreants stopped his bike at Sainik Chowk on Majhanwali-Chandausi road. Then the miscreants started abusing and beating him. When the BJP leader protested, the miscreants shot him in the head. The BJP leader got injured after being shot in the shoulder. The miscreants fled from the spot. Prempal somehow informed his wife about this over the phone. After this, the wife informed the police about this incident. The incident is being attributed to an old rivalry.
Police engaged in search of accused
On receiving the information, police from Baniyathera police station and Chandausi Kotwali reached the spot. The injured BJP leader was admitted to CHC. Where the doctors, seeing the matter getting worse, referred him to a higher center. CO Pradeep Kumar Singh reached the hospital and took complete information about the incident. The police is engaged in investigating the matter. Police officials say that a police team has been deployed to arrest the accused. The accused will be arrested soon.
