Samrat Chowdhary: BJP’s state president and Bihar’s deputy chief minister Samrat Chaudhary on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on RJD president Lalu Yadav. He said that there is no bigger robber than Lalu Yadav. His entire politics has revolved around corruption. He has taken land in exchange for giving tickets and other benefits to his relatives.
He said that Lalu Yadav, who runs the party on the lines of a private limited company, has earned several hundred crores by selling tickets in elections. After becoming the Railway Minister in UPA-1, he grabbed three and a half acres of land from the Kochar brothers near Saguna Mor in Patna in exchange for leasing two railway hotels, where his two sons were building Bihar’s ‘biggest mall’.
Mention of the land in exchange for job case
Samrat Chaudhary said that Lalu Yadav got land registered in the name of wives, sons and daughters of Hridayananda Chaudhary and Lalan Chaudhary, who live below the poverty line, to give them jobs in the railways. To make Rakesh Ranjan and Mohd. Shamim MLCs, he got valuable land in Patna registered in the name of his family members. Till a few days ago, he was hatching various conspiracies to make his son the Chief Minister.
Lalu Yadav targeted
The Deputy CM further said that in Lalu Yadav’s eyes, development only means taking his family forward. Lalu Yadav, who did politics in the name of the poor, increased his family’s wealth through corruption and amassed huge amounts of benami property. Lalu Yadav never had any concern for the poor and backward people of Bihar. He ruined Bihar to establish his sons and daughters in politics. The people of Bihar will never forgive Lalu and his family.
