Bihar Weather Update Temperature Below 6 Degrees in Patna Coldwave Bihar Mausam IMD Alert

Patna, For the first time this year in the capital Patna, the minimum temperature reached below 6 degrees on Monday (January 22). According to Meteorological Center, Patna, on Tuesday (January 23), there is a possibility of westerly wind along with severe cold wave in many districts including Patna. Also, there is a forecast of dense fog in many districts including Patna. However, rain is expected somewhere today. The effect of cold wave can be seen in Patna, Nalanda, Begusarai, Nawada, Gaya, Jehanabad, Vaishali, Saran, Aurangabad, Kaimur and Buxar.

Possibility of dense fog in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a forecast of dense fog in many districts including Patna, Gaya, Nalanda from 10 to 11 am. Along with this, a drop in the maximum temperature of the day can be seen. There is a possibility of a drop in the minimum temperature in many districts today. There is no possibility of any significant change in the maximum temperature and minimum temperature for the next three days. The minimum temperature in these three days can be between 6 to 8 degrees. At some places the minimum temperature is expected to be between 4 to 6 degrees.

5.5 degree temperature recorded in Patna

There was a drop in minimum temperature last Monday. Of the records recorded in 27 districts, the minimum temperature in 20 districts was below 10 degrees. The lowest minimum temperature was 4.1 degrees Celsius in Gaya. Talking about the capital Patna, a minimum temperature of 5.5 degrees was recorded here.

The temperature remained below 10 degrees in these districts

The districts where the temperature remained below 10 degrees on Monday include Gaya, Kaimur, Patna, Darbhanga, Forbesganj, Motihari, Jamui, Vaishali, Samastipur, Agwanpur, Bhagalpur, Chhapra, Buxar, Aurangabad, Nawada and Dehri. There was fog in these districts in the morning also. The highest temperature recorded in Motihari on Monday was 20 degrees Celsius.
