Bihar Weather Today 01 July 2024: Monsoon has become fully active in Bihar. Rain has started in all the districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Center Patna (IMD Patna), today on Monday (01 July), warning has been issued of moderate to heavy rainfall and thunderstorm in almost all the districts of the state. However, there is a warning of heavy rainfall in eight districts today.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in West Champaran, East Champaran and Kishanganj. A warning of thunderstorm along with heavy rain has been issued in Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul and Araria. Apart from this, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in all the districts of North and South Bihar. There is a possibility of cloudy weather with no sunshine in the morning. People of all the districts have been warned to be cautious of thunderstorms.

Alert issued for next 72 hours

According to weather analysis, a cyclonic circulation is present in the area of ​​East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Bihar at 1.5 km above sea level, which is passing through a cyclonic circulation formed near North Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in all the districts of the state for the next 72 hours.

How was the weather in the capital Patna,

Last Sunday, the temperature of the capital Patna was recorded at 33 degrees. The highest temperature was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius in Dehri of Rohtas while the lowest maximum temperature was recorded at 29.9 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad. According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, the highest rainfall between Saturday and Sunday was 244 mm in Lakhisarai.

On the other hand, Arwal received 162 mm rain, Tekari in Gaya received 141 mm rain, Jehanabad received 124 mm rain, Jamui received 121 mm rain, Nawada received 107 mm rain, East Champaran received 105 mm rain, Aurangabad received 102 mm rain, Patna received 89.6 mm rain and Kishanganj received 88 mm rain.
