Three people died in Purnia: Panic spread in Purnia on Tuesday (23 July) when the news of the death of 3 people from the same house spread. Even doctors are unable to understand what the reason is. Amidst the rumours of Corona, the investigation team of doctors has started investigating in the area. DM Kundan Kumar has also taken stock of the situation.

Three members of the same family died in Rampur Mushari Tola under Mufassil police station area of Purnia. All three died on different days, in which two brothers Akhilesh Rishi and Mithun Rishi along with their grandmother Ashiya Devi also died. After the incident, the administration and medical team came into action. DM Kundan Kumar said that as soon as the information was received, the medical team was immediately sent to the affected area.
The DM has also instructed to check the people living nearby so that no disease or rumour spreads. He is keeping a close eye on this as well. The DM said that the cause of death is not clear yet, but the surveillance team is also present on the spot. The DM has appealed to the people not to spread any kind of rumours. If there is any problem, consult a doctor immediately.
What do the family members have to say about the death?
On the other hand, deceased Akhilesh and Mithun Rishi’s father Vasudev Rishi said that Akhilesh had come home from Punjab on July 18. He had eaten something after coming home. After this, on the second day, July 19, he had severe pain in his stomach and then Akhilesh died. After this, on July 21, his mother Ashiya Devi died in grief of the death of her grandson. On July 22, Mithun also had sudden pain in his stomach and he was brought to GMCH, where he was treated.
The family said that he left the treatment and went for exorcism, during which Mithun also died. A pregnant woman also complained of stomach pain, but the medical team immediately examined and treated her and she got some relief. At present, the people of the area are in panic that some contagious disease is not coming again.
