Rakesh Roshan, a big leader of his party, resigned on Saturday (02 November). Rakesh Roshan was the state vice president in the party. A big reason is being said behind his resignation.

Rakesh Roshan had contested elections from Raghopur Assembly in 2020 from LJPR. Rakesh Roshan, who fought against Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, got about 25 thousand votes. Information regarding the resignation has come to light that Rakesh Roshan is going to contest the election of Legislative Council member from Tirhut graduate constituency. JDU’s Abhishek Jha has been made the candidate from here. Now Rakesh Roshan is in a mood to leave the party and contest the elections as an independent. In such a situation, it is believed that there will be an interesting fight between JDU, RJD and Rakesh Roshan.

Rakesh Roshan while talking to ABP News said, “In 2024 Lok Sabha elections Brother (Chirag Paswan) had promised us a ticket from Vaishali Lok Sabha constituency. We had also made preparations to contest the elections. Had made preparations so are contesting elections. Now there is public pressure.” It is noteworthy that Rakesh Roshan is the son of late Brijnathi Singh, a big name of North Bihar. Rakesh Roshan has been associated with LJP since his student days.
