BJP leader’s son made a conspiracy: Ashu, the 19-year-old kidnapped son of Patna BJP leader Rajesh Kumar Singh, has been recovered safely from his friend’s flat in Greater Noida. The police has exposed his fake kidnapping plot. He had pretended to be kidnapped to save the five lakh rupees he had lost in an online game and to trap his friend Shivam, who had given him a loan for buying and selling game IDs.

ASP Diksha told the whole story of the conspiracy

On Saturday (29 June), ASP Diksha told in a press conference that on 23 June, case number 559/24 was registered regarding the kidnapping of Ashu. On the instructions of Patna SSP and City ASP, a team was formed under the leadership of SHO PK Bhardwaj. Two named youths Shivam and Ricky were taken into custody for questioning. Where it was revealed that Ashu used to play an online game called (BGMI) Battle Ground Mobile India. He had taken a loan of five lakh rupees from Shivam to buy the ID of the game, for which Shivam had also made an agreement with Ashu.

ASP said that during the evidence found in technical investigation and interrogation of the suspects, it was found that Ashu, who went from home to his college in Siwan to take B Pharma exam on June 21, did not reach there. The college principal told that Ashu has not been coming to college since November 2023. A notice has also been issued to come to college in January 2024.

Police investigation revealed that he went to Hajipur that day and stayed in a hotel. On June 22, he came to Danapur in the afternoon and withdrew ten thousand rupees from an ATM located on Gola Road. Then around 8:30 pm, he called his mother Jyoti Singh and told her that he had been kidnapped by Shivam, Ricky and others in Gola. From there, he reached Patna station and left for New Delhi late at night by an express train.

Police reached Danapur with BJP leader’s son

As it was late night, Ashu’s mother told her husband, BJP leader Rajesh Kumar Singh, the next morning that Ashu had been kidnapped and kept in an apartment near DAV Public School in Gola. On hearing about the kidnapping, Rajesh Singh, a resident of Shahpur Defence Colony, left for Danapur and informed his friends and relatives over phone. The police recovered him from the flat of his friend Suraj, who was studying in Greater Noida, five days later. After that, the police reached Danapur with both of them.
