The Panchayati Raj Department of the Bihar government will make appointments on more than fifteen thousand posts. This information was given by the department’s minister Kedar Gupta on Friday (07 May). He said that these appointments will be on various posts.
Appointment will be made on 4351 permanent posts
According to the information given by Minister Kedar Gupta, there will be appointments on 4351 permanent posts while 11,259 posts will be on contract basis. A total of 15,610 posts will be filled by the department. According to the information, among the appointments to permanent posts, there will be 112 posts for the post of Panchayat Raj Officer, 28 for the post of Auditor, 3525 for the post of Panchayat Secretary, 504 for Lower Division Clerk (Regional Establishment), 01 for Lower Division Clerk (Headquarters Establishment), 05 for Office Peon, 104 for Junior Engineer in Zila Parishad, 72 posts for Lower Division Clerk in Zila Parishad.
At the same time, Minister Kedar Gupta also informed that under the temporary post (contract), there will be appointments on 7070 posts for Accountant cum IT Assistant, 556 for Technical Assistant, 03 for Office Assistant / Data Entry Operator, 1400 for Gram Kachhari Secretary and 2230 posts for Gram Kachhari Nyayamitra. He also informed that the requisition for appointment has been sent to the concerned. Minister Kedar Gupta informed that the source of appointment / planning for various posts for the appointments to be made in the financial year 2024-25 will be BPSC, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, BGSYS, SPRC, Beltron and District Officer.
