The Naxalites had hidden four IED bombs in a pit with the intention of blowing up the soldiers who were out on a search operation in the forested areas. Security forces recovered the IED bombs and destroyed them in the forest itself. The matter is of Madanpur police station area near the highly Naxal affected village Pachrukhiya and Laduiya mountain and Shikari Kuiyan area. At the same time, SP Swapna Gautam Meshram gave information in this matter on Friday.

SP Swapna Gautam Meshram told that the security forces were out for a search operation, four IEDs of 3 kg each were planted in a pit on the same route through which the security forces were to pass. The Naxalites had planted these IEDs with the intention of blowing up the security forces, but information about it was received only on Thursday evening and as soon as the information was received, CRPF, Madanpur police station police and Cobra jawans under the leadership of Cobra Commandant Cobra Kailash Arya jointly launched an IED. A search operation was conducted and all four IEDs were recovered and destroyed.
SP appeals to Naxalites
SP said that continuous efforts are being made to eliminate Naxalites in the district and search operations are being conducted. Whose arrogance lies with the Naxalites and they are acting like this, but CRPF, Cobra and District Police personnel are foiling their plans. Even before this, a large quantity of weapons and cartridges along with Rs 20 lakh kept hidden in Godrej in the hilly areas have been seized from the forests of Pachrukhiya, Chhakrabandha and Laduiya.
He said that Naxalite activities have been curbed due to police blockade in Naxalite affected areas of Madanpur and Deo and he appeals to the remaining Naxalite to join the mainstream and use their energy in nation building.
