A pregnant woman died due to the negligence of a private doctor in Chhapra of Saran. After this incident, there was chaos among the family members. This incident took place in a private clinic named Ranjan Poly located at Mal Godown Road in Madhaura of the sub-divisional headquarters Madhaura police station area.

According to the information, Ranjit Rai’s pregnant daughter Pooja Kumari (21)’s mother took her to a private nursing home late on Tuesday to get relief from labor pain. It is alleged that the doctor there, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, first demanded 50 thousand rupees from the victim’s family. After that, after arranging some money from here and there and giving it to the doctor, he asked them to get the delivery done. However, the family members say that the doctor also got the operation (C-section) done. During this, a newborn baby was also born. But the unfortunate thing is that as soon as the baby was born, her mother was sent to God by the doctor.
The mother of the deceased said that no one was letting me meet my daughter. After killing my daughter, the director of the nursing home, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma, at around three in the morning, told me to take her to Chhapra Sadar Hospital. An ambulance was forcibly called and my daughter was declared alive in the hearse after being given oxygen and sent to Chhapra. But my daughter had died here. She told that Pooja was married to Munna Rai, son of Kishun Rai, a resident of Methwalia, last year.
It is alleged that Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sharma MBBS is written on the poster of the hospital, whereas the said doctor does not have any degree. Treatment is done by a doctor without a degree. The family informed about this incident by calling 112 including Madhaura police station. The police force went to the house and the spot and investigated the incident. After that, they started further action.
